Settlement Services
We offer free settlement support services for the entire family, including helping newcomers, refugees and other immigrants with referrals and information in connecting with other needed community services. We maintain strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality in all our services. Our help includes:  
     
  • Translation/interpretation services; help in preparing government and other official applications;
  • Personal needs assessments and supportive counselling
  • Current information on community and settlement related matters of interest
  • Career needs assessments/counselling, job search workshops; help with resumes, cover letters, job interviews
  • Free internet access and use of computers
  • Support services and drop-in groups for seniors and youth
  • Women advocacy and supports
  • Services and supports for Syrian and other refugees
  • Formal endorsing or attesting of documents
Our staff speak Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, French, Caribbean dialects.

We also provide free clinics conducted by Mississauga Community Legal Services and The Region of Peel/Health Services. The former offers advice on subsidized housing, immigration, Ontario Works and other government support programs, and the latter offers dental screening for children.
